Designer hun...its catch 22 at the mo but changing gradually...a lot of sellers want more buyers before they come over...buyers want more sellers before they buy...they've all just gotta realise that instead of saying 'i want more before' that THEY have to make it more themselves, not sit back waiting for others to lead the way first.
I honestly do look here before looking over there but I've done my good deed for the day today anyway..without using my buddy link even, happy theres a seller coming over that sells things i couldnt find on here initially. That seller benefits by paying less too...happy all round.

Hopefully the more of us that start making the switch the more the catch 22 will be balanced.

I joined nearly two years ago but only just dipped my toe in the water. I made a couple of sales but they only went for 25% of the price I got for the same items on eFeebay, so I gave up.

Now I'm a business rather than a hobby seller and it makes much better business sense to get things really going on here. Unfortunately though, I do need to keep the pennies ticking over while I'm making the transistion, so I need to keep the other account for now.

I really do think these latest problems over on the dark side will send more and more sellers and buyers in this direction, we just need to keep getting the word out.

Oh yea..before you assume I'm into ballroom dancing lol (if you looked at my purchases, actually I DJ for a charity & they like that)
An example from my purchases was that the seller of those was on both sites.. yup..I purchased here.
Came over to snoop bargains & ended up buying more make up than I'll ever need coz Merlin sold at a quarter of shop prices.
Mum calls me a shopoholic... I prefer to think I know a good deal when I see one lol

well just as long as ebid isn't flooded with the fakes I don't mind) at least the powers that be over here seem to be a lot more pro-active in dealing with fakes and the like than fearbay which is good. If all the scammers and fake peddlers do come this way it won't be good for ebid and will seriously jeopardise any chance of raising Ebid's standing, so just hope they are on their toes. Mind you saying that, I haven't seen a bad seller be suspended yet on fearbay just some small rather good ones!

I get the distinct feeling that fearbay is clearing the site of auctions small sellers and second hand goods sellers in line with their strip mall vision and purposefully pointing them in this direction. I wonder if at some point in the future fearbay will buy out Ebid and use it as an add on, a bit like fearbay Express but simply for the second hand/small seller market? Tis a thought

I'm surprised I am still allowed on Feebay as 90% of my harmonica shop items have this on the page.
