Thread: Finishing auctions early?

1. #1

Default Finishing auctions early?

I don't know if anyone can help, I have a number of items for sale that have been relisted about 7 times - i am going on holiday in a week so would like to finish all of my auctions early (none have bidders on). Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

log in
go to auction page
click on update delete at the top of the auction page
next page click on delete
you will need to do this for all listings

If you delete them, once they're gone, they're gone for good and you can't relist them later.

Go to 'update/delete' and change the number of days to 1 and the relist option to 0. They will then end next day and still be waiting in your closed auctions when you come back ready to relist again ('course you'll need to change them back from one-day auctions on the relist).

Hope that helps

A feature similar to what Amazon uses in Marketplace would be useful (not urgent though) i.e. a "Holiday" setting. This temporarily suspends all a users auctions & inserts a message such as "shop currently closed". The user can re-activate all auctions by clicking a button when they return.

ps ....

How do I post a link to my auctions at the bottom of forum posts ?

I can't seem to enable HTML, even though I tick the box in my profile

Hi jlovie,

Your code is alright, the forums don't use html so all you have to do is change all the arrows < > for square brackets [ ] then it will work.
Html is used in auction discriptions..

Hope that helps,

so the code would be: View My Auctions

just remove the space after the last url and before the bracket to copy & paste..
