    Red face Hi everyone

Hi everyone, just joined up after four years at Highfees Bay so just finding my way around, the new feedback system over there was the last straw, some louse insisted his item never arrived, I believed him and gave a full refund, he repaid me by giving me my first neg feedback, and hey lol, guess what? I looked at his site and there was an identical item to the one that never arrived up for auction, because of the new feedback rules I cant
respond. They just seem to be forgetting its the sellers who pay their extortionist fees. Sorry, not usually a moaner but I feel better for that, fairygirl20

Hi faireygirl20, welcome to eBid, Sorry you've had a bad experience over there, things are far more sensible here.

OK to help you get started add a signature link to your posts so us nosey lot have an easy link to your items whilst reading the forums, read this thread http://helpdesk.ebid.net/showthread.php?t=100959 then fill in some info on Your About Me Page so people know about you as a seller. Perhaps buy a few things to kickstart your feedback over here, always looks better than a zero, ( I have some nice cheap prints ) have a look at my listings to see how I dealt with the zero feedback problem when I started.

Then email all YOUR (not Greedbay's they are a venue, they keep telling us) customers, and tell them where you are, give them a link to your listings. Grab the records while you can and from paypal records as well. That should keep you busy for a bit, and shout if you need a hand. Additional body parts incur a small fee Oh and finally read the forums there is a lot of useful information on here.

    Default Hello to you all

Its about time I introduced myself.

As you can probably guess I am new to the world of Ebid and am currently trying to gain as much info as I can from the forum.

Although I am new to the world of online sales I'm not new to running my own business as I currently run my own courier firm and have been going for three years, based in Stevenage Herts.

I have an online store and I have sold items on Ebay, however was delighted to come across Ebid and have been putting on as many items as possible. Would like to have put more on but the world of couriering takes over at times, but I'm sure I will get there.

I am currently experimenting with different types of products, length of auction etc, and although items have been viewed no takers just yet. Alot of my products are set up as run till sold, but I wondering if its worth changing to 7 days listings. I'm sure I will get the formula right. Also, now I have listed my Ebid stores and have posted here then you now now I exsist, so please feel free to have a look, and any feedback good or bad is welcome.

    Many thanks

    Tom
