Thread: national advertising campaign

  1. #1

    Default national advertising campaign

    Hi fellows
Been browsing through the site and told wife to sign up also, but whether itis women or wat,she found it too complicated, but then again she aint the brightest of sparks.
    ouch!
anyway seems to be lots of sellers and not enough bidders.
I think what is called for here is a national advertising campaign, full page spread in the sun should do it.
maybe we could all chip in towards cost.
or maybe some unusual story nt he news concerning ebid that comes free.
the site needs to be tidied up a bit, maybe cause we are all use to ebays setout.
Good luck and keep up good work

I couldn't agree more - I think a national ad campaign would be excellent - or even better get the Daily mirror involved as they seemed to have abit of a disliking for ebay about a month ago . A lot of people read the sun and mirror - probably the two most popular "news" papers in the country so anything you could get in either of those would be a boost!

    Hi,

Ebid were in the Daily Mirror only a couple of weeks ago
It has been just over a month that the new server was put in and things are being improved...ready for the onslaught.. it is all happening thanks to Gary & Mark for all their hard work. (listening to suggestions & also replying so promptly to numpty emails from me)

I just wanted to say thank you very much for putting the different catagories in for clothing, being able to amend auction descriptions, and working on the picture upload resizing.. and a lot of other changes that pop up all over the place which are a great improvement.

    one very grateful guinea pig

    Thats a great idea, joby!!
Try emailing G&M at support@ebid.co.uk with your offer..... see what they come up with.
I'm sure they'll welcome any free(???) publicity.

    Cheers
