Thread: Holiday Dinners

  1. #1

    Question Holiday Dinners

I love the holidays and I have to start planning so early for them (we have a huge family) Anyways, every year it seems like we make the same old thing and I want this year to be different. So I was just wondering what does everyone else serve for their holiday dinners? Maybe, I can get some new ideas. Everyones input would be awesome.

I come from a big family so we always had a big Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. Now I make Christmas dinner & we change it from year to year. Some times beef/gammon/pork/lamb/chicken/turkey dinners we have also done buffet style we have even had pizza. I think anything goes now. Hope this helps in some way.

We have always just had turkey & ham. Never really thought about steak or pizza. I am having trouble thinking of the side dishes. Earlier today I did find a recipe for Yorkshire pudding on another post. I am going to try making that and see if it turns out good and have that. I just don't know much about food from other places and thought that it would be fun to try new things.
