Default A bad start to a nice vacation

Hello everyone. Here's a video showing that it pays to check your height.

( it's about 1700kb for the bandwidth poor)

Apparantly no one was hurt, so that was a bonus. Sure looked scary.

OMG what an idiot. I can't tell you how many times I've seen 18 wheelers have been stuck under parkway over passes.

Yes and professional drivers should know better when hauling an oversized load. I've seen an overpass where I live hit numerous times also. This is an rv trailer and the driver probally never gave it much thought. (that was obvious looking at the video)

Glad that wasn't me! When I saw "Dodge Ram" I thought it would be someone who got their duals involved in something they shouldn't, which has almost happened to me many times. The drive through banks around here are wide enough to accomodate duals easily, but I get up into town and they aren't that way!

We are in an industrial area and huge juggernaught lorries use our roads built in Victorian times...These roads go under railways by means of low stone or brick bridges...the number of Foreign Lorries that get stuck onder them, or damage them is amazing.

Many use Sat Navs I think and this gives no warning of height restrictions...or they just can't read road signs

Don't they have building regulations there? It should have taken more than that to bring the whole thing down.
