    Default Competions

Does anyone here enter free competitions?

    Have you had any success?

I am pretty good at writing slogans so would like to have a go, but are the slogan type competions still going or is it all computer / phone lines now ?

I've been doing free competitions for years, and I have had some great stuff for free.
I've had two big televisions, a car from the Daily Record a couple of years ago.
Once a few weeks before Christmas right out of the blue a cheque turned up in the post from British Gas for £1000. The irony is I don't even have mains gas, but the money came in very handy.
I've had hundreds of games, CD's and DVD's, but they don't seem to sell any more. Last year I gave all my games and DVD's to my Grandson's school for their raffle, and they might be getting a few more this year.
I can't do tiebreakers, and just keep to the answer a simple question or prize draws.
If you work on averages, enter enough, you're sure to win something.
Come on over and take a look, there's something for just about everyone.

No, you can still do both. I do competitions and have won some prizes, including a family holiday to Florida for two weeks, including hotel (Sheraton, so a nice one), spending money and all tickets. Also won a set of Le Crueset pans and various other prizes.

    Try www.loquax.co.uk

    I've never entered one myself.

Thanks ladies. Are you registered with the free online competions ? Are they safe ? Can you recommend any?

I have registered with a few but can't remember which ones. Loquax is good (or seems to be) and I have done some of the bigger ones (like the Walkers "Do us a flavour" etc)

I use Loquax too, and Prizefinder.com.
The only snag I've found is a substantial increase in spam mail, and I always make sure to tick any boxes stating I don't want promotional emails.
