I was listening to the news on the radio

I thought it was cold down here but minus 6 degrees is expected in some places in the UK overnight.

I'm glad I am a softy Southerner

Going down sarth this afternoon see me ole girl and me grandaughters have to take a few pics of the snow down with us

We rarely get snow here - only a bit in January or February but it doesnt usually stay more than a day or two

I know lol only been up here since 2004, used to go the Lakeside darts every January and come out to snow nearly everyear

Well over here near the West Yorkshire border it's been stuck on the ground for two days. Can't hardly get out coz it keeps freezing and the gritters don't come round here any more. Even our main roads have hardly been touched.
Walked to Asda on Tuesday afternoon, and had to cross the main road that leads up from the motorway. It was dodge the sliding cars while we were trying to stay on our feet. Got my pulse rate going any way!

Well we were forcast to have 8" of snow by the time we got up.
