Smile A glitch in my Fixed Price box

    Hi,
I seem to have a glitch on my 'Fixed Price?' box.
I have gone into 'my ebid' and then into 'my Defaults' to un-check the Fixed Price? Box, then hit 'Save Auction Defaults', then get out to go about my business to add more stuff!!
I get over half done before I get into "Section Three" : Pricing & Payment and see that on the other-side of 'BuyNow Price' is the Fixed Price? Box and yes it's still slowing a check-mark in that box, that I can't edit!! lol
I then go back to 'my ebid' and then into 'my Defaults' and I "delete all my default setting", hoping that would take care of it...but no and now I'm here asking for help!!! Debmas1

Are you aware that auction defaults do not apply automatically? You can set up defaults, but then you have to populate your listing with the default value set you choose.

    Yes I understand that thank-you.
But my defaults setting on the "fixed price box", is not staying un-checked?
after I save it, which means I can't put a price on item?!

Have you got any prices set in the defaults? What auction duration have you chosen? If you've chosen Run Till Sold, that can only work with fixed price, so your defaults would clash.

(Sorry if these seem like stupid questions, I'm not trying to be insulting, just looking for possible answers!)

I just hit the sell-button to list a item and went thur the list to see what "Button" it was that changes the Fixed Price Box to slow a check-mark in the box and it's the "Close Auction" - *Run Until Sold*, makes the Fixed Price Box grey-out..can't edit it!!!

    Crossed in the ether.

Just don't use run until sold, it's lousy for visibility anyway.

If that's not a sensible answer, let us know what you would like to achieve in an ideal world, and somebody will have an answer.

I'm off for the night now, maybe catch you tomorrow if you're still having problems!
