When did you have children, what age were you?

Are you glad that you had children when you did?

I had my first at 22 (Jodie), 2nd at 26 (Jessica) and 3rd at 27 (Jamie).

Now that Jessica is at school, I am really glad that I had kids when I did as I will only be 43 when the youngest turns 16.

Unfortunately I will be a grandma at 44 if Jodie has kids at the same age I was, more changing nappies

i was made a grandmother at 40, another anytime soon!
At least I'm still young enough to enjoy doing things that require a little energy to do so. lol

As a man I have to say 'Not that I know of'.

Never had the desire to raise children. It takes me all my time to take care of myself.

Love my nephews and nieces (though they are now grown). The biggest joy there was that you could hand them back at the end of the day.

Now have a few grand-nephews and grand-nieces so any little paternal instincts I might have are expunged when I get to see them.

Yep, I've had 4 kids 2 boys and 2 girls and I became a grandmother at 46.
I was 20 when I had the 1st one and yes I'm glad I had them when I did.
Now just waiting for the youngest 2 (honehe (25) and tozcentral (22)) to leave home.

Three girls aged 25, 23, and little Lucy aged 3 ,became a grandad at 42 when the eldest was just 15,now have three fantastic beautiful granddaughters who I love and adore.

I miscarried a child at the age of 27 & then wasn't able to have any. But don't feel sad for me, because both me and my husband decided after that unfortunate event, to do the things we could not have done had we had children, like travel to exotic places etc.
Now the very thought of them fills me with dread, enjoying myself too much!!

I always thought it would get easier when they 'grow up' but it's not the case here either, lol
