..... but Occam's Razor suggests it's just an overload. Your own timing could simply be a lunchtime rush.

I certainly tend to list during the lunch-time hours, and I guess that many others will come on to eBid during their lunch breaks, so this could be a possibility.

I've had the same problem over the last couple days. Really slow and lots of "Page not responding" errors... I'm using Firefox but it didn't seem to work any better in Safari. After a while I tried again and it worked okay.

I just tried to get into GreedBay to check their prices for some items I'm adding. The screen locked up. Couldn't exit, couldn't shrink it or stop it, nothing worked. I waited a couple of minutes, finally had to restart my computer.

I had problems with some other sites over the weekend. I really think this is a problem with the internet. This is a long holiday weekend in the U.S., there could just be a lot more people on than normal.
