to throw a spanner in the works - why not mount them on clear plastic hair combs??

But to answer your question - as I wear my hair up most of the time, twisted in a bun type knot and tied or held in place with a stretchy scrunchie or barrette - I'd say the barrette. They would be great for jazzing the hair up - especially in the summer time.

Barrettes is my choice. They are so cute! My daughter will be graduating from college soon. I hope I get a grandaughter some day to put those in her hair.

Or you could put them on an alice band with some flowers. Whatever you do with them they're really cute.

I think they are really sweet. i don't know what a barrette is, but i think they would go well on a hair elastic or headband.
