IF I get up, I may go
IF it is not raining
and IF I can't be bothered to stay home and list
Or IF no one else is on the Kitchen Table
Not been to a car boot for years.
We still have a "Sunday market" about 3 miles from here. Datesback to the days when there was no Sunday trading and one had to be a "member" with an annual renewal (something like 20p a year). I've been here for over 25 years now and some of the original traders from way back then are still there. We still go for a wander around there about once every 6 to 8 weeks. Good place for veggies, garden plants and clothing/shoes.
Six on around here - but they are all poor these days - no bric a brac any more - just grotty kids toys, grubby kids clothes, old household rubbish like yoghurt makers , and hooky bikes etc.
no not been to one for ages,
Funny you saying that.
The last few carboots I went to in MK and Tingewick seemed more like market stalls - new, ultra cheap items, 2nd hand books, clothes, but no bric a brac to be found anywhere.
Have you ever been to the one in the Bowl at MK - a total waste of time in my opinion.
While you are here please check out my shops and auctions.
Thanks.
Dan.
