I can't see any call for a new category. I've never heard the term "home automation" but most of what's listed appears to be plug/socket stuff - Home & Garden
All > Home & Garden > DIY > Electrical Fittings (browse all) would do that perfectly well, and anything computer can go under computer stuff.
