My daily driver is a 1995 Toyota Camry. I also have a 1987 Ford P.U. that I use on occasion. Also have a 1939 Buick custom and a 1950 Studebaker hot rod. Haven't driven either in years though.

Mine is a 1998 "R" reg VW Polo Classic. Thats the one with the boot as opposed to a hatchback. Its got the 1600cc 100bhp engine so is a lot quicker than your standard Polo. I've owned it for 8 years which is the longest I've ever owned a car.

Nothing wrong with a Skoda.....The Skoda company have a very long history. They used to be the butt of many a joke in the past. But they do make some fantastic models nowadays!

My previous car, a Vauxhall Carlton, was 16 years old when I had to get rid of it. It gave me very little trouble throughout its life but finally succumbed to rust on a main chassis member that made it just too expensive to repair for what it was worth. Everything else about it though was immaculate. I had had it from new so it was a real wrench sending it to meet its afterlife.
Oddly (or not) those things that did give me problems during its life were those fancy addons that you maybe use a couple of times during a cars life and cost a comparative fortune to replace.
I brought a dealership (customers and staff) to hysterics once with my pained cry of HOW MUCH??? on being told the price when I went for a new glass for the heated wing mirror
