Only the standard case of Pelligrini Cab/Franc blend (my personal favorite). It would seem it is also a favorite of Miss eBid's and so, I'm out of wine, again!

You are right ... and also in the Hudson Valley. In my opinion, Long Island has better wines ... lower taxes than Hudson Valley and easier access to Manhattan than the Fingerlakes ... I'm not bias or anything!

    Dear Friends,

We took a last trip into The City. That's what the locals call Manhattan. After lunch we made a stop at the Chrysler Building, a classic example of Art Deco architecture and considered by many contemporary architects to be one of the finest buildings in New York City.

The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco style skyscraper in New York City, located on the east side of Manhattan in the Turtle Bay area at the intersection of 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue.

The Chrysler Building was designed by architect William Van Alen for a project of Walter P. Chrysler. Ground breaking occurred on September 19, 1928 and the building was completed on May 20, 1930.

The added height of the spire allowed the Chrysler Building to surpass 40 Wall Street as the tallest building in the world and the Eiffel Tower as the tallest structure. It was the first man-made structure to stand taller than 1,000 feet (305 m). What started as a small speculative office building became one of New York's most admired landmarks.

More pictures and information about the Chrysler Building can be found at:

And so I end my ramblings as I started … on top of the world.

Thank you to everyone that has followed me on this journey. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Next week I'm off on a little side trip.

But not to worry, I'll be back just in time for YDC 123 with my bags packed and ready to head to my next destination.

    Until next time,
    Miss eBid

P.S. I did manage to get that YouTube video made. You can find it at:
