LOL! As in 'Throw Momma From the Train?' Now that was a funny movie.

Fortunately, in Scotland, the rules regarding the unplanned disembarkation of some close relatives from a public use omnibus are well documented.

    1) You cannae shove your grannie aff a bus.
    • The original law was deemed to be unclear and was tightened up and applies only to your mammies mammie.

    2) You can shove your other grannie aff a bus.
    • Paternal grandmothers (your faithers mammie) are deemed to be liable for eviction at any time.

    3) Uncle Wullie is also liable to ejection from the vehicle
    • This is permissible grounds that "he's just like your faither, a harem-scarem blether".

    4) Finally, Auntie Maggie should endeavour to stand clear of the doors, or at the very least, hold on tight.
    • Anyone who falls into the category of "being your faither's sister, and nothin' but a twister" quite frankly deserves all they get.

For anyone who's completely mystified (sung to the tune of "She'll Be Coming Round The Mountain").... http://www.traditionalmusic.co.uk/fo...Yer_Granny.htm

Scottish humour? Isn't that an oxymoron?

    That not very nice.

Are you implying that Scottish men are a form of bovīnus with a low intellect.

as someone who wished Scotland had got its independence, why all the talk about who pays the extra nurses in Scotland. simple answer pay them with the extra 30% of oil revenue that Scotland is getting ( that should make jim murphy smile) and the extra English nurses with the mansion tax (that should make diane abbot happy.........noticed she was not all for it when asked on daily politics show, possibly because she lives in a £3 mill mansion, a true socialist eh?). there you go, happy bunnies in Scotland and happy bunnies south of the border. next!!!!

There are no socialists left in politics. There is no anything. All politicians exist purely to benefit themselves. Regardless of their party affiliation there is no difference between any of them.

Maybe some politicians have begun to understand economics.

Only insofar as it affects their expenses, their salary, their pension, their perks, their monies under the counter, and other self-serving matters.
