VAT applied on Canadian seller

This is a message that I also sent to support. I received a VAT invoice for August month. I believe that being a Canadian seller (based on Toronto), I am not subject to the tax tolled on European sellers.

Even though it says VAT..this is your invoice for your FVF (final value fees) owed to eBid from what sales you have made for the month of August.

The VAT is for eBid's UK business purposes. Your fees are all included within the VAT

6) eBid is a VAT registered Company in the UK. We do not charge customers VAT on fees. eBid incurs the standard VAT fee for UK registered users.

As a US citizen, I can assure you that you are not being charged anything other than certain features that you are using.
If I don't add anything extra to my listings, such as another category, then I do not get a VAT invoice from Ebid.
I do use a gallery picture and there will be a charge for that BUT not until I sell an item.

Correct, however the company needs to know you are outside the country, that said you may need to submit a tax return TO THE UK to get the VAT back..
