The whole point of the discussion is rather that there *isn't* a report button for this.

So email support as you would with any other issue on the site.

I have done this with an absent lister.. hardly a seller... I then followed up with three more emails at reasonable intervals until she was removed. Enough of that and management will realise that just taking the lifetime fee is not the limit of their responsibilities.

We have, as Kimbo says, had to fight the management policy line before and they have come to realise that we were right. It seems to me that we either do that again or abandon ebid.

It is all about figures - whether it is number of members or number of listings.

I had a selling a/c here in 2003. When I opened up another a/c a couple of years back, I didnt realise my previous one was still running.
I emailed support about this, and asked to close the first a/c, as I was under the impression that we were only allowed one selling a/c.

They just said to leave it as it is - wonder how many others have 2 accounts.

I'd much rather see sellers who take the time to look after their listings.

    To heck with numbers.

Me too, but the other account is now going to be used for personnel items.

apparently I've also already rated this thread! ???

I can honestly say - I have not.

By removing the dead wood - It would make the whole experience of browsing, and buying far better. It would probably also put soem of our stores higher up -(Assuming that some of those really huge stores, with tons of listings, but no feedback) are amongst the non sellers.

Perhaps the way to go would be to buy a couple of cheapish items off those big sellers, then report and have struck off if it's a total non-performer. On the other hand, it might encourage an absentee that there is life here, and it's worth checking back again?

I RATE THIS THREAD AS IMPORTANT - 4-5

For those who aren't fussy about filtering what I sell - Take a look at ALL my stuff above. - But for more specific listings, take a peek in the stores below.

TOY-PALLOI - For all sorts of traditional playthings!

THE PAPERBOYS PLEASURE - For Books & Magazines

    OUT ON THE FLOOR - For Records - (mainly 1950's - 60's)

    VIEWPOINT - Photographic Equipment

THE SCRAPYARD - Spare parts for old cars and bikes
