How do I control pixels

I am trying to scan fabric. WHen I scan the pictures of the fabric they look good! when they appear on the listing they look blurred. I am thinking that It has something to do with Pixels. I am getting larger amount of pixels than Ebid is asking for. How do I reduce the pixels in a picture? Pam

You will need to use an image editor to crop your pictures. I think ebid uses a max of 500px x 500px

BTW what does fat quarter mean on your fabrics?

A fat Quarter is a Yard of Material that is cut in 4 even pieces like a window pane, instead of horizontally. You get 4 pieces aproximately 23'x18" Quilters like it that way because they can get more squares. Thank You very much for your answer! I am gong to revise some of my pictures tomorrow so that they will be more accurate! Pam
