    Default MoneyBookers

I have seen a lot of members are now using Moneybookers and I've had a quick look at their site. Is this is same company that, a few years ago, use to send buyers payment to the seller by money order. Or am I getting them mixed up with a company with a similar name.

I'm waiting for the answer as well, I used Moneybookers some years ago & couldn't get on with them, to slow!

cant help with you with the past history but..... these days it can be transfered into your bank account as per p/pal... the only thing is they charge £1.80 to do so.... that said the commission charge that they charge for taking a payment more than makes up for it.....

the nearest I can find in my accounts is....

to take £23.10 via p/pay cost me £1.10
to take £22.85 via m/b cost me £0.45

I have had a bit of time to do some checking and it appears to be the same company.

Although it looks as if they have improved their service, I had so many problems with them in the past there is no way I would be willing to give them a second chance.

'I had so many problems with them in the past '

Same here, so I think I will look further at other options

I use Moneybookers and they are absolutely fine, not the same company now.
Moral of the story always give a second chance, if indeed that was them.

Just wish PPPay was bigger as they are Excellent.

Not familiar with Moneybooker's past history. I used them, & the transaction went well for a large sale from the UK. Wish eBid would integrate Moneybookers as a payment method.

I cannot afford to lose the amount of money they cost me the last time I used them, again

They don't charge £25 Tony, they are not an auction site, perhaps you have the wrong site ?

I have never said anything about £25
I never said or thought they were a auction site
On checking I see their dot com site was registered in 2001 so they are the same company that done me out of a tidy amount of money.
I would never use or recommend them.
