HI ALL, would someone please tell me what this means.

it says my current status of subscription is seller lifetime, what does this mean,?and do i have to upgrade?thankyou for replies

If you want to use all the best features of ebid, I'd suggest upgrading to seller plus. You can see the different facilities offered, and the prices for each on the help pages (top right). Be aware that apart from lifetime, other subscriptions continue to recur until you stop them or upgrade further.

I am seller plus and have made my cost back and of course more. Sales are starting to pick up and I am very happy about that. The 2% FVF are so much less that on Greedbay, I actually enjoy paying my FVF invoice and the small charges for featured auction, it is GREAT!!!!!!

Well worth converting to seller plus and the 2% gallery fee - this is only payable if your item sells and is not an extra fee until then.

To actually answer your question, which I don't think anyone has...

Your Seller Lifetime 'subscription' (I wouldn't really call it a subscription) means that you have a basic selling account on eBid. The 'Seller' part means you have an account that allows you to place items for sale on eBid. The 'Lifetime' part simply means that it never expires. So, even if you live to be 100, you have to do nothing to maintain your current account status.

You do not have to upgrade beyond your current account status but you may choose to - if you feel the benefits afforded by a Seller Plus account would be of use to you and the costs of doing so were justifiable to you.

As long as you are aware that it is a recurrent subscription. I.e. unless you cancel it before the month's end you will be billed for the following month - and so on until you do cancel it.
