Hi--I didnt post on here to start a fight--I have been on here a month and spent alot of time listing items and ZERO results...from what I have been reading many others are frustrated with the lack of customers also. I am simply making a suggestion. This is not a hobby for us or a need for a social site...we sell parts as a business and we came here because eBid is advertized as an alternative site to sell on than feebay...well if its all work and no pay...its not an alternative, therefore I am only making suggestions to try to make it better.

Am not here to start a fight either - I also make my living selling on line on 9 sites.
Was just interested in the comment ''want ebid to WIN'' - fair enough saying you want them to succeed, but to ''win'' ?
To win what? It is not a competition.

Getting all members to pay 1 dollar would basically be impossible in my opinion.
Many of the members are buyers - why would they want to pay 1 dollar?
How would ebid enforce all sellers agreeing to it?
It is a lot easier said than done.

My last comment was in regards Magnets and Hangers---

I want to put a link on our website/webstore to direct people from there to eBid--the items I have on eBid are not on my website, therefore I would like to direct them to here so I dont have to spend all that time creating those listings on my website.

My suggestion was that if the owners of eBid are not making enough to advertize and get their name out and they are relying on us to just tell our friends...that will be a longgggg process.

    I agree with you both.
I am trying to build a business.
I'd like to be selling my items regulalry, not just 2 or 3 a month.
But its not going to happen over night.

@Partspickers I hope you get some sales soon.

@Magnets&Hangers you make a very good point most of ebid's 900,000 members would be buyers.

    Here you go:

    <a href="http://us.ebid.net/perl/main.cgi?mo=search&words=1068987&categoryid=&fullt ext=&type=user&type1=a&type2=a&countryid=&price1=& price2=&sfeedback=&near_me=&pcode=&adult=&category only=&category2=&useronly=&useronly_username=&view _format=showroom&sort=0-0"> Check Out My Items </a>

You can change the wording: Check Out My Items to suit your needs.

I've just spotted an easier, shorter link to use:

    <a href="http://us.ebid.net/items/partspickers"> Check Out My Stuff </a>
