Combined Shipping Problem

Can anyone help please? Maybe I’m just being thick here but I can’t figure out how my Buyer got an invoice for £7.23 when I billed him for £6.11? He bought multiple items and I have him a postage discount. (The buyer is French so am assuming he paid in Euros). I have cut and paste from my invoice:

Auction(s) Total

£4.50

Shipping Total	£7.50
Shipping Discount to be Included @ £5.89	(£5.89)

Invoice Total

£6.11

But the PayPal payment shows:
Subtotal : £4.50 GBP
Postage and packing: 2.73 GBP
Total: 7.23 GBP

Payment: 7.23 GBP

Anyone got any ideas? Or is anyone else experiencing this? This is the first time I have noticed this happen…

Hi Sharon,
I think you need to check your Paypal settings concerning shipping costs as this is probably overriding your eBid shipping total.

Hi Jan!
Ah! I completely forgot! I recently moved my website and set up PayPal to add the shipping costs automatically (my previous website had it’s own shipping tool)… I completely forgot about my Ebid items! Shame I can’t tell it to only apply those settings to my website… will have to go away and rethink this strategy, was only trying to make things easier for my website customers…
