eBid uses an image with a maximum of 600 pixels along the longest side - with 600 x 600 square being the optimum. You can upload larger images, but eBid will resize them down to the above - so anything greater than that is a waste. Larger files can take ages for eBid to process, the resizing routine may not be the best (you may do a better job with a standalone program - irfanview does batch resampling of images).

Self hosted images used in descriptions can be any size, though should be kept below 980 pixels wide - as that is the eBid page width.

I'm starting the wrong way round...how do I shut down a store for holiday settings( or in my case for poor heatlh)??
I've had a quick look round and not seen any info on it.
I will list approx 50 items, but need to shut it all down within a day if needed.

Is this possible on ebid please?? Is a store better than individual listings??

Also, am I right that we can import feedback from other sites?

    Any help appreciated.

    Hi and welcome.

I see you are just down the road from me.

    Good luck
    Jane

hi , I just registered as ebid member (buyer) and I am also willing to be a basic seller (free insert fee and 3% charges after selling the products). But I only find the upgrade button to be the sell + . Would you please tell me where I can register as a basic seller ??

Also , my registered address in ebid is in Hong Kong . May I also sell the product to overseas market ?? Thank you .

Go to My Ebid > my options> my subscriptions and you should find some choices there
You can sell almost anywhere in the world, but you must always offer to your own country first

    Woo-hoo!

    I do believe I'm winning!

I've not done too many listings, but at least I seem to have worked out the glitches where the wording went all over the place.

do please let me know if you see errors.

They look all ok to me.
Don't forget to write something about yourself/business on your 'all about me' page.

    Apart from that, Good Luck.

    Thanks Jane.
Will have to do that sometime, but want to sort listings first.
I'll also have to remember the returns policy etc.

I've done 30 listings, so feel I've broken the back of it.

Now all I need are some hen's teeth, sorry, sales!
