I would guess that most internet users don't even know that it exists, especially as it has had about 4 names and is only availble in the USA and UK and Germany.
Rubbish. Google shopping is available in USA, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France, Japan, China, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.. Oh - and now Switzerland!

Last question: Do you know where Google opened an office in August of 2011? None other than Krung Thep Mahanakorn: Bangkok.
That fact says a lot about Thailand’s importance to Google’s strategy in Asia. The company chose to open an office here because Thailand is the perfect mix of developed and developing when it comes to the internet – it’s a large and fairly untapped market with the right amount of internet sophistication and its own language.
One of the main responsibilities of Google Thailand’s office in Bangkok is to localize the Google products that we all know so well, translating them into Thai and tweaking them to serve Thai people’s needs. It’s part of Google’s core philosophy that the user experience always comes first, so if there is a function in Gmail, for example, that’s well-used in the West but never touched in Thailand, the team here may nix it and make another more-used feature more prominent.

    WOW

    This post is nuts...
If you dont like what a site does BUILD YOUR OWN... search build a auction website..
You know ebid should not offer seller+ at a set price.
They should have free listing and set a fvf at 8%
charge a set price for 1 store you want more you pay.
When they put something new on the site like away to collect payent
    Ect.. Ect..
You should have to pay a % to use it. You dont want to pay you cant use it.

Hell The Guys that run it is doing great in my eyes.

You want everything better then ebay.
If i have to pay more i will leave. Is what i have seen some people say.
If you feel that way just leave.
I dont think ebid is going to beg you to stay.

    Thats my 2 cents...

Yes i would compared to other sites fees ebids are low and most of us have made our outlay time and time again i would like ebid to grow and i would be willing to pay higher fees on items that sell as long as we get more buyers i do ok with stuff selling but it would be good to have a few more sells as my stock holding is running quite high at present

We are getting a bit OT here, but

I am sorry about getting it wrong about Google products.

But you say that your buyers found you on Google!

Do they mean Google or Google Products ?

the seller + lifetime deal was a stroke and a half it allowed ebid not only to do away with fees for + sellers it allowed them to be able to discount the one off fee or return it to its normal price [ for instance to generate more revenue ] only enhancements would cost extra for S+ which at a very low rate also allowed ebid room for increases if needed the dreaded FVF never really enters the calculations , i cant see another site offering such a good deal to what they get in return. so i think they planned for the future , i dont for see them needing to increase the cost of enhancements , the one off fee is geared to be flexable they could even offer seller only accounts 1 free store to get them established and at the same time seller plus accounts could be allowed 6 free stores certainly a 1 free store as a inticment to new sellers trying the site out. own banner ect
That certainly could all be a painless possibility.

That certainly makes sense to me.

    What does nix it mean?
