I would guess that most internet users don't even know that it exists, especially as it has had about 4 names and is only availble in the USA and UK and Germany.

Rubbish. Google shopping is available in USA, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France, Japan, China, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.. Oh - and now Switzerland!

a large percentage of my buyers use google products how do i know i ask them thats how they found my products.

you have been here long enough to know many sellers report there buyers find them via google

i have also said in the past google should advertise main stream rather than just its own medium

If you dont like what a site does BUILD YOUR OWN... search build a auction website..
You know ebid should not offer seller+ at a set price.
They should have free listing and set a fvf at 8%
charge a set price for 1 store you want more you pay.
When they put something new on the site like away to collect payent
Ect.. Ect..
You should have to pay a % to use it. You dont want to pay you cant use it.

Hell The Guys that run it is doing great in my eyes.

You want everything better then ebay.
If i have to pay more i will leave. Is what i have seen some people say.
If you feel that way just leave.
I dont think ebid is going to beg you to stay.

Yes i would compared to other sites fees ebids are low and most of us have made our outlay time and time again i would like ebid to grow and i would be willing to pay higher fees on items that sell as long as we get more buyers i do ok with stuff selling but it would be good to have a few more sells as my stock holding is running quite high at present

well im glad you picked up on it your examples just show were the real battle is !

the seller + lifetime deal was a stroke and a half it allowed ebid not only to do away with fees for + sellers it allowed them to be able to discount the one off fee or return it to its normal price [ for instance to generate more revenue ] only enhancements would cost extra for S+ which at a very low rate also allowed ebid room for increases if needed the dreaded FVF never really enters the calculations , i cant see another site offering such a good deal to what they get in return. so i think they planned for the future , i dont for see them needing to increase the cost of enhancements , the one off fee is geared to be flexable they could even offer seller only accounts 1 free store to get them established and at the same time seller plus accounts could be allowed 6 free stores certainly a 1 free store as a inticment to new sellers trying the site out. own banner ect

That certainly could all be a painless possibility.

Ebid does marketing not for itself as such but via google products and a couple of other sites thefind ? plus what the membership do via marketing, products in this case is what marketing is about all sellers here are treated the same in the marketing provided subject to having buynows ect if your compair a sucsessful seller with a not so sucsesful seller using the same marketing then pricing, availability,quality ect, play there part as well even the state of local , international ecomnomics . marketing will show your product its down to each seller then to make the sale or not, there TCs there real time advertising via there store ect.
