    Default Feedback Request

    Are the feedback requests sent automatically?

    I made a purchase on the 18th and my item was sent on the 20th.

    Item hasn't arrived yet.

    Got a feedback reminder today

    No, you must send a feedback request. You could message them in the AOL and say that the item has not arrived and you will leave feedback when it arrives.

    I'm just about to do that...I wasn't going to if the request wasn't sent from the seller.

    BTW...I am now half way through my snack bars.....I shopped around for them and couldn't find any at a lower price any place

    Feedback reminders are sent automatically by eBid - but not that quick after a transaction, I had worked out (or at least guessed) the period of time afterwards that they sent it, but have forgotten.

    It could be that the seller has hit the wrong menu item from the drop down.

    Didn't think of that...I wonder which button they meant to send...I have left them a question on the AAL

    Can that automatic feedback request be turned off by the seller ? I think feedback requests sometimes annoy buyers, its up to them if they want to leave it or not.

    Unfortunately not..............

    As a mildly amusing side note on eBid's emails - I had someone purchase an item from me, it was their first ever purchase on eBid, nothing unusual about that...... apart from the fact they had been a member of eBid for exactly 10 years already! I sort of concluded that eBid's Happy 10th Birthday email triggered the sale............

    Could be any of them - one slip of the hand with the mouse....... I can't tell you how many times I have hit on 'mark as a non paying bidder' when I wanted 'mark as shipped' - luckily I have always recognized that I hit the wrong menu item in those instances.
