    Default Postcards

It seems there has been a revival in collecting them.
And Stamps as well, which is lovely to see.
Do the sellers agree? And is there anything else, that has been taking an upturn in sales?

I've only recently started to sell postcards - stamps - I find that the unusual sell well as if philately is on the rise rather than stamp collecting.

Could it be because they are small, easy to store, and brings back fond memories?

I must admit, I use all mine as bookmarkers, so they are also useful.

I suppose, if collecting postcards, you need to keep an eye out for around 1998 or later date marks - most people now use email/facebook to contact everyone because it is cheaper than postage. Not valuable now but in 20-30 years time might be more sought after. I did collect the pre-1950s ones but have now lost interest - might collect again at sometime.

Yes - deltiology is still very popular; It has certainly enjoyed a revival over the last decade or so... I think mostly amongst people aged 50 plus, in particular.

Some categories of postcard collecting never went out of fashion e.g. shipping and military subjects - the other thing we have noticed is that we used to have more female customers than male, but now it's more or less even!
