    Default And people wonder why

Thought I might buy my better half a piece of antique jewellery, so immediately started a search on here.

I have found antique Cubic Zirconia, antique pieces where the age is not known, gold that turns out to be plate, an antique made in 1977, and some of the worst photographs on the site.

I'll keep looking, but probably elsewhere.

Good quality photos really are VERY important. Anyone who hasn't got a decent method of capturing images of their items might have a word with Santa - camera's and scanners aren't massively expensive these days but I do understand that this is all relative to one's current financial position but if sellers can afford them then they should invest. There is, of course, the other issue that some folk would still take bad pictures even if they had the best photographic studio in the world.

I bet you that if you look on that well known, world famous internet auction site you will find a whole bucket more.
Misinformation and bad descriptions can be found on both sites. Sadly the other site is much larger and can hide it much more successfully.
And don't get me started on rubbish photographs. How people can take a photograph of an item from sixty feet away and hope to sell it is beyond me?

At least we don't have any "reflection porn" pictures here.
