Staying logged in for 72 hours plus...

Not sure if it just me or whatever software is on this machine so....

I keep ticking the box to stay logged in for more than 4 hours, however after 4 hours I still need to log in :-(

I use log in for longer all the time, with no problems.

It happened to me, it was my own fault, I didn't select a time in the dropdown list.

Do you clear cookies at the end of your session?, it relies on a cookie to keep you logged in

Same problem for months now. I do not clear cookies at end of session.I did get in touch with support (what they suggested did not
work(Sorry,can't remember what that was).It has always worked fine for me,up until a few months ago.

Even if you are not manually deleting your cookies you might find that you have a setting in your browser to automatically delete cookies on shutdown. Also other packages might be deleting cookies such as if you run MacAfee Quick Clean.

Cookies have been deleted several times manually ... TOS due to theirs I cant log in, make edits etc until they are cleared sometimes twice a day!!!

So yes done many times... sure its connected to the 'updates' that are forced some seem to help, others cause MORE problems :-(

This started happening to me two days ago. I have to log on every time I enter, all day, unless I keep the site active in a separate window. I also have to log on every time I return to the forums. It started happening three days ago. I checked and I have cookies from ebid.net and us.ebid.net and www.ebid.net/forums and they are protected.

I keep the window open at the moment - just incase of questions - sales ;-) as with do on TOS but with this computer.
The Ebid forums stay logged in longer than the auction section...
