Cameron has certainly 'porked up' since becoming PM. You would normally expect someone with a hectic schedule (as a PM should have) to become leaner. Just goes to show what having your snout in the trough does to you.

The reason why it seems that the SNP will not be invited to the debates is because the institutions of the national media are English-centric and never seem to consider the other three countries of the UK as having meaningful importance.
However, all it will take will be for there to be back sliding on progress on devolved powers for Scotland and there will be a meaningful contingent of SNP MPs at the next Westminster Parliament, debate participation or no debate participation. The supreme irony would be the SNP holding the balance of power after the next General Election if there is no overall winner despite being ignored in the debates.Life has a way of balancing out.
