    Default invoice without a cause

    Hello
    and apologies if this is not the right place to ask.
    I was stunned to receive an invoice to-day.
    I have never received an invoice before as my account has been inactive for at least 15 years
    In fact, I have considered closing this account for a long time.
    Can someone help me with an explanation as to why I am receiving an invoice now? thank you so much for any help you can give

    Hi Betty,
    You joined in August 2011 and it looks like your account is still active with items for sale.
    I am not sure why you received an eBid invoice so my suggestion
    is that you contact support@ebid.net and ask for clarity.

    I have found out how to contact them and have do so.
    Could you tell me how I go about closing this dormant account. Thank you. So, helpful of you!

    PS. After checking my account, I discover that none of the items for which they were charges were listed in my store! It must be a wrong account. What to make of this?

    Hello Janet,
    I have logged onto my account and see that all references to a late statement have been removed. Ebid support responded very proactively and I appreciate this very much.
    As a result of demonstrated efficiency, I have decided to keep my account opened and I will even try to list more items one bid in the future, as time allows. Thank you very much for your help!

    Could the items be from way back that you sold but didn't meet eBid invoice limit?
    I had sold one or two items before I left my shop dormant, and it was below the invoice limit.
    Years later, I came back and started to sell again. I finally got an invoice where the OLD items sold were on it and being paid.

    If not, ask eBid administration on this too.

    Thank you for your mail and your suggestions...
    All has been resolved, as the items described in the invoice were not mine (I wonder how they found their way under my account). Anyway, Ebid was very prompt in replying, and I appreciate it.
