Smile Anyone advertise their ebid shop on their business website?

Im setting up my own jewelery website/ business and am just wondering if anyone advertises their ebid shop on their business website?

I'd be putting some of my special offers on here, which would be cheaper than in my online store in order to encourage the trade.

I am looking for ideas about where to put my link, how to display it etc

    Hi,
Yes, I put a link to my Ebid store on my website. Gazza mentioned in an earlier post that using the words "Ebid online auctions" will help to get Ebid a higher ranking.

Lol... so your whole website is an ebid link, good idea... hehe

I meant a seperate business website, which is seperate from ebid, but having an ebid link somewhere on it.

well !! yes, its how you plan it, and the amount of work involved, you did pctures, write-ups etc for your store,, why do the twice, have you bothered to go look,
dont use the link, google qcpots.co.uk, then follow through for the items,,,,,
and as kengillam uses the same idea,
    its got to-be right,
your web page NEEDS to bring in YOUR sales,

but no doubt, once in, they will look for others selling the same items,

    Good Luck,

Perfect Peggy! - just what I was looking for, as mines done in OSCommerce too.
Does it bring in any new buyers in your experience?
    Great shop by the way!

Sorry qcpots, I see what you mean, but your way isnt practical for me. Thank you for the input though. I like the way you've done it, it would be good for others to do that sort of thing. I might even consider setting up another site myself.

My sites not live yet (wil be a few more weeks until I'm happy with it) but heres a sneak preview so you can see what I mean.

I also have direct links from my website to each individual shop...Set up on my 'Links' page
Also advertise with google which does bring customers in plus recently started to advertise with Microsoft Adcentre...Both work on clicks per hit, sadly not buyers per hit..

Ropeg advertisement is great, I may think of doing something similar on my home page...
Anyway, best of luck and do recommend google for bringing in the peeps, even if some only look...
Speculate to accumulate, that's the saying isn't it! .... I'm still waiting for the accumulate bit...LOL
