Totally new without a clue!

New to ebid and trying to upgrade to seller +

Ok looking for a nice simple! response please

Just followed the paypal link to upgrade, granted its gone via e-cheque so is not an immediate payment (I like life without credit and debit cards). However ebid has not recognised the upgrade in any way.

Is this just because the e-cheque hasn't cleared or could it be that it won't recognise my ebid id due to the paypal name being a buisness name? or is it none of the above and could therefore be an error?

Your upgrade won't show until your echeque clears

I'm sure you already know that this can be anything up to 10 days It's totally out of ebid's control, it's all at the tender mercies of peepal.

But, use the time you have to get organised, taking pictures etc. etc. & read, read, read through the forum help threads.

Aw thanks guys, thought it would be that but i'm a worrier so had to check.

Also just started to think, as I do not have a credit card(...I'm a hippy i don't do plastic its bad for the enviroment!) does this matter if I have paid the seller + lifetime fee by paypal?
I presumed it wouldn't as no more fee's to pay, but wanting to check to stop me worrying!

Do you intent to upgrade any of your listings to 'gallery'? there's a very small fvf on gallery auctions so you may over time build up some small fees. I am unsure if you can pay these by paypa, i doubt if you would want to as most of your payment would go to paypals owners in fees . ebid don't usually collect fees when there's just a few pennies involved, and i think they can accept cheques- have a look on the help pages or email ebid support for more detail
