An idea for attracting more folk to ebid......

Exactly, and Im sure most visitors to ebid take a peek at the clothes if nothing else

I wonder if that's right? I never do - other than the very nice scarf I bought from you, and that was a special order rather than browsing - I've not looked at clothes at all as it's not something I buy very often. I've browsed books, DVDs, and gift-wrap items. In fact that would be my top three, with a side issue of some gardening stuff when looking for presents and greetings cards as they're always useful.

So my top three to browse/buy is:

1. books
2. DVDs
3. gift-wrap/craft - ribbons etc

What are others, I wonder?

1. Jewellery - usually for gifts

2. Books - mainly to sell on or pass on

3. Hand-crafted items, trinket boxes, more jewellery etc etc

clothing is way down on my list

Oh goshy, my three things. I usually have something I'm looking for in particular, and then go search - but I guess the main categories would be:

Clothes
DVDs
Craft Materials

I will put an A4 sign up on my stand when I do my fairs, with the Ebid Logo, saying:

"Also see me at www.ebid.net - the fee free place to be"

(Or something along those lines)

Well, I am also on a diet and if I lose my weight I will have tons of clothes that will be too big for me (wishful thinking but hey, who knows!)
