    Default Google - Again (Sorry)

I still cannot find a link on google to anything we are selling. If I put in Pique Perfumes then I get some of our closed auctions come up. Individual products that we are selling are not showing up. I have kept the threads to do with this and there is a difference of opinion as to how long you need to list for it to upload to Google. Some say 11 days plus + some 7 days plus. I think google is the key to our business as there is obviously strong competition in our field. I would really appreciate some simple help as to how I can get our stuff to come up on a google search.

    Thanks
    Phil

Ebid listings that have more then 8 days to run with a BIN on the 8th, 18th and 28th of the month get uploaded to Google.

    Hi Phil,
you are confusing Google Products/Shopping/Base with google the search engine.

eBid upload qualifying items to Google Products 3rd 8th 12th 18th 23rd and 28th of each month.
To qualify for this upload your items must be
    Legal
Auction with at least 7 days remaining & BuyNow available
    OR
Auction with On First Bid & BuyNow available
    OR
Fixed Price with at least 7 days remaining
    OR
Fixed Price with Run Until Sold

Google base will not accept plain auctions.
That is why it's suggested that you list your items for more than 7 days.

To get your items picked up by Google the seach engine you need the seach bots/spiders to pick up your listings.
To find more on how the bots work you need to read up on SEO.
You need to get as many relevant keywords into your title & description as possible, the more competition you have, the harder it will be to make your listings stand out.
This post by Gazza has some helpful advice.

I am trying to register as a Merchant with Checkout, have got my email and password in and been accepted, but can't get any further to start taking the spondulicks! Any ideas what's wrong. It just says click here, goes pink and stays that way.

Billy, have you checked the information under Auction Payment Facilities above? It shows a step by step for signing up for Google, and I'm guessing you may have missed something.

Thanks, klj, yes I have. I have used all his other guides to get up and running and they have been great. I must have missed something, as I am a bit of a durr brain, but can't see what. Love your photo, by the way!

Gee thanks . Might need to start over then, it sounds like a true glitch and I've heard that Google is not spectacular at responding if you have a problem setting up. But you could try asking them.
