Joined up, haven't made anything, haven't spent anything - up to you if that counts as "worth it" I guess!

Agree, everything seems very vague. I clicked the link in Gazza's post - to Clixgalore - and there you have to join, but there seems a fee of £55 is payable to join the program!
Can anyone spell it out for a dumbo - Gazza says eBid pays .80p per member that joins ... clixgalore say they pay £1 per referral. I find it very confusing - I'm all for promoting eBid but I won't pay £55 for that privilege.
I joined nowandthen and it didn't cost me a penny.

There are 2 types of affiliates - merchants who pay a fee and publishers who don't.
If you have a website and sign up to someone else's affiliate programme they are the merchant and you are the publisher - so you dont pay a fee to join.
I have lots of affiliate links on my site including the eBid ones and I havent paid any fees at all.
And just to confirm, yes clixGalore pay a quid on a successful click through and sign up, but they also have a monthly deduction from your earnings regardless of how much you make, or don't, - read the clixGalore user agreement VERY carefully
