    i always measure the full length and put that in my listings huddy so a 16 inch necklace is listed as 16inch and if it has extender chain i mention that 2 so with a 2 inch extender chain it can be droped to a 18 inch necklace if it is used i have some in my listings that i have reduced at the mo because i need the space so if your looking for a bargain pop over x mandy

    I too generally hold the clasp and let it drop for the measurement it is much more accurate.

    Yep so do I. It's usually the circumferance that is measured Huddy from one end of a chain to the other. If you want a necklace that sits around collar level go for a 16" or 18" but if you want one to sit at boob level go for 22" or 24".
