Gotta be a traditional one (best cooking method "in the oven" lol )

Turkey all the trimmings srouts, roasties, roast carrot, parsnip, onion, leek (i love roast veg), broclie, colliflour. (wow sounds a lot)

finished off with a nice coffee with brandy and cream

and then when it settles down a nice cheese board and a sleep if the queen has not put me to sleep before then

We have turkey & gammon, roasties, sprouts carrots, stuffing, pigs in blankets, yorkshire puds, and roasted veg, all done together jamie oliver style (which hubbie does).
It sounds alot, but i hate veg, so don't have any, just meat, potatoes & yorkshire puds. My son is a veggie, so no meat for him, and the others have a bit of everything.
After we have home made trifle, xmas pud & one other dessert, cause not everyone likes the trifle or pudding.
What ever meats left we have boxing day.

Looking for some ideas of what to make.
What's the 'best' way to cook a Turkey?
Book restaurant, order turkey dinner, eat, get drunk, fall asleep - leaving someone else to do all the work that gets you to that stage.

I always try to mix it up with some traditional and some new things to try. This year I'm doing:

Roast turkey (brined for 24 hours in an apple brandy chicken broth brine)
    Wild Rice stuffing
Sweet Potato casserole (has pineapple, brown sugar and pecans with a crunch top)
    Potatoes au gratin
    Green beans in lemon dressing
    Hot rolls with butter
    Pecan Oatmeal pie
    Cranberry swirl cheesecake
    Cranberry upside down cake
    2 kinds of Christmas cookies
Cranberry nut bread with Cointreau glaze

Can I have the recipes? Or better still: can I come to dinner?
